Video : The Quatuor Varèse plays surrounded by Monet’s Nymphéas

On the occasion of « la Nuit du Quatuor », October 3d 2015, the association ProQuartet submitted to the parisian audience an unprecedented event: eleven european string quartets, including the Quatuor Varèse, performed around twenty works after-hours, in the beautiful hall of the Nymphéas at the Musée de l’Orangerie.

The Quatuor Varèse played « Ainsi la nuit » (Thus The Night) from Henry Dutilleux and Beethoven’s great and last composed quartet opus 135, under the gorgeous sight of the Nymphéas from Claude Monet.
